pullme — into the future…
Find the work. Then set your price.
In most of these languages the problem was never your rate — it’s that nobody posted the job anywhere, because nobody had translated the site yet to find out it needed one. Prospects goes looking: real local organizations without your language, checked against what’s actually live on their site, so you always have somewhere to start.
Translate the homepage, hand the owner a preview of their own site speaking to their customers, and price the work yourself — no agency between you and the client.
You never pay anything. Site owners subscribe; you take the larger share. No fees, no plan, no card — not to join, not ever.

- 1
Apply free.
Tell us your languages. No payment info, ever — not to apply, not to translate.
- 2
Open Prospects.
Once you’re in, Prospects surfaces real local organizations that don’t have your language yet — checked against their live site, ranked.
- 3
Translate their homepage.
Pick one, paste it, verify phrase by phrase. Ready in minutes.
- 4
Share the preview.
One link. The owner sees their own site, in a language their customers actually speak — no jargon to explain.
- 5
Set your price.
Prospects suggests a rate per phrase for the verification, adjusted to where the owner does business. Move it up to 40% either way, and keep 85% of what they pay — nobody discounts it out from under you.
- 6
Earn for as long as they stay your client.
Every language you hold pays you a share of that site’s bill, every month, for as long as they subscribe — no cutoff at a year. Bring more work and your share climbs: 75% under $250 a month, 80% up to $1,000, 85% up to $4,000, 90% beyond that. Agencies take a bigger cut the more you bring them. We take a smaller one. And your introduction saves them 10%, so it’s an easy yes — they’re your client, not an agency’s.
You type every word.
Once a business is yours, nothing published came from a model. You translate it yourself, sentence by sentence, the same way you always have — the AI never writes your translation, not even a first draft. A reference suggestion can sit beside the field if you want a second opinion; it’s something to read, never something to accept. Nobody can rush a page through by clicking past a draft, because there isn’t one to click past.
Even a quiet site pays.
It’s not $5 for nothing. Here’s what the owner is actually told: “Five dollars a month, per language, keeps it watched — your certificate, your sitemap, what Google expects — and every improvement we make reaches your site without you touching it.”
A quiet language still pays that $5 floor — charged per language, never pooled across the site. Hold a language and it’s $2.50 a month for you, yours alone, for doing nothing — and once a month he gets a note with your name on it.
One thing to know about when it arrives: each month’s share settles after 30 days, and a payout goes out once your balance reaches $25. A smaller balance rolls forward to the next run — it’s never lost, it just waits for company.
Where the money is.
Prospects works in both directions, and they don’t pay the same. A business abroad that wants to speak to your language’s own market pays full price — it’s a real market for them, and they know it. A local business that just wants to reach English or French speakers pays less: above the floor, every price is set to what that customer can actually spend. Neither is the wrong client to pitch; picking the language in Prospects picks the direction, and the abroad-facing side is usually the richer one.
Bring the client, keep every language you introduced.
When you’re the one who brought a site to us, that stays true even for languages someone else ends up holding. You earn on every language on a site you introduced, even the ones you don’t hold yourself — a share of theirs, not out of it, so the translator actually doing that language still gets her full rate.
One line so nothing surprises you later: that share rides the per-language price, above the $5 floor. A still language at $5 pays the translator holding it and nobody else — there’s no introducer share on a floor line, for you or for anyone.
Not another post-editing rate cut.
If you already do machine-translation post-editing for an agency, you know the shape of it: the rate keeps sliding, the discount gets bigger than the editing ever saved, and the client was never yours to begin with. This is the same skill — reviewing and correcting a draft rather than translating cold — on the other side of that arrangement. You set the price, within a band tied to what the buyer can actually pay, not one imposed from above.
What this isn’t.
If you run Trados or memoQ, your translation memory doesn’t come with you — there’s no import today, so every project starts from the source, not your glossary. Agency work still runs through Trados; this doesn’t replace the terminology and QA tooling agencies standardize on, and it isn’t trying to.
It handles documents too — .docx, .pdf, .txt, .md — the same phrase-by-phrase way, and your corrections carry forward on their own. The parsed file is kept, so a long document you’re coming back to over weeks reopens from Jobs without re-uploading. Two limits, said plainly: a copy over 2 MB once compressed isn’t kept (you reopen that one from your own file — everything you verified is saved either way), and the 50 most recent per account are kept. Good for a homepage, a brochure, a handful of product pages. Not yet the place to run a 200-page manual across a team.
Ready-to-send.
Copy, fill in the brackets, send. Once you’re in, Prospects drafts one of these for every business it finds, grounded in what’s actually on their site — this is the shape of it.
Hi [name], I put together a [language] version of [business]'s homepage — have a look: [preview link] It's still just a preview, and it's marked as a machine draft right there on the page — I'll retype it myself before it's finished. If you'd like it live on your own site, publishing starts at $5/month — priced by how often the site changes — and my introduction saves you 10% on your first month: [your code] Reply to this address: reply+[prospect id]@pullme.io [your name]
Hey [name] — I made a [language] version of your homepage: [preview link]. If you like it, my introduction saves you 10% when you publish it: [your code].
How we check that’s true.
We sample accepted sentences and have them checked independently. Accept only what you have read — that is the whole job.
